In a recent interview with Encomium magazine, Funke Akindele’s
ex husband, Keyinde Oloyede Almaroof, said that he was building
a house for his wife before she ended the marriage. He revealed
that it’s a one-storey building (uncompleted) located off Adeniji
Jones in Ikeja, adding that the rejection of the building was one
of he reasons for their split. READ HERE
in a revealing chat with E-247 magazine, Funke Akindele sort of
replied her husband’s interview…
Read what Funke told E24-7MAGAZINE after the cut:
That place is not for me, I have been through hell and back.
I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I felt we could
work things out when the trouble started two months after the
marriage.
But I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at
him when the trouble was coming to me too much.
I stooped to conquer him; buried my fame and name to make
him my husband, but it did not work. At a point in time, I
asked if it’s not the same man that was all over me before we
married.
He nearly got me off my career. He called me severally; I did
not pick his calls but when he realized my silence was
tormenting him, he took to Facebook.
It’s alright.
Ask him when did he come to my house last? He left me here in
my rented apartment with nothing and he will just dash in and
dash out. He gets abusive, caustic anytime we have a
misunderstanding and often told me to my face, he’s going to
his wife in Oshodi.
He sent me SMS that he has seen a buyer for his house at
Adeniyi Jones for N40million. He asked me if he should sell it
and that if he does, he will buy me a new car and a rent me a
new apartment.
Why now? I don’t need all that, I want my sanity. I respect him
to the end but he chose to treat me that way. He said he
wanted to clip my wings.
After Funke ignored him, he sent her another text abusing her
and calling her names.
“So you can see that he does not mean well for me,” Funke re-
iterated.
Funke and Kehinde rarely spent substantial time together even at
the peak of their marriage.
Both kept to hectic schedules by virtue of their chosen
professions.
While Funke is often involved in back-to-back shooting on movie
sets, Kehinde jumps from one construction site to another;
pressing buttons for his political ambitions; and keeping dates
with his wife at home and other women by the side.
Besides, Kehinde’s disturbing and haunting pasts have repeatedly
stared Funke right in the face, and according to E24-7
MAGAZINE’s impeccable source, Funke learnt shockingly that her
once beloved hubby was expelled from the University of Jos
almost as soon as he was matriculated as a student of the ivory
tower.
His admission, was faulty right from the beginning and since that
first attempt at tertiary education went awry, he shut his door at
education. When he returned from Jos, he found strength in his
entrepreneurial skill coupled with the influence and support of
his mother, a market leader and successful businesswoman; he
became an estate developer, building chains of shops in Oshodi
market.
Gradually, he crept into politics and his popularity soared that
he became a well-known grassroots politician and a great
mobilizer.
To shore up his image, he found in Funke who has become
monstrously popular with her movie, Jenifa and the sequel, The
Return of Jenifa, a ready tool.
He convinced the favourite actress to lead him to the Leader of
the Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
whom he had assaulted many years ago during the market women
leadership tussle between his mother, AlhajaAlmaroof and the late
Iyaloja General Alhaja Abibat Mogaji.
After he atoned for his ‘sins,’ he joined the train of well- wishers
that went to London to felicitate with the former governor when
one of his sons graduated from a university in London.
Kehinde’s lost bid to win the contract to rebuild Oshodi market
really threw him off balance and that probably made him to turn
the heat on his latest wife, Funke who wanted his attention.

Speaking in an interview, Uche Jombo talks about her new movie ‘Unconditional’ and also spoke out about marriage and cheating. According to her, there is no room for cheating.
“I don’t have control over what someone will do, I’m not God. I’m talking about me, how I conduct things. It’s not an option that it will happen, I will not tolerate cheating.
When asked if she was older than her husband, she said, “I have never dated or married someone I was older than in my life. If you have the illusion of someone’s age, that is your business, and I am even too mature for my age. That is the problem, because men of my age are ‘small boys’ around me, I can’t date them.
She added that she is grateful for how far she has come and what matters most to her is that people who knew her during her not-to-proud days are proud of what she has achieved so far.

Sound Sultan and his Naija Ninja label have told Nigerian
Entertainment Today they’ll be suing upcoming Pop artiste Sean
Tizzle over an alleged breach of contract, illegal use of
intellectual property and more.
The label headed by Sultan’s elder brother Dare Fasasi better
known as Baba Dee claims Sean Tizzle (real name – Oluwaseun
Oluwabamidele) not only walked out of a management and
recording contract but has also hijacked a number of songs
including the popular single ‘Sho lee ’.
Investigations reveal Sean Tizzle (formerly known simply as ‘Sean ’)
started up by making a break with Naija Ninja when he was signed
along with other starters – Karma, Yung GreyC and Blacka. The
crew along with Sound Sultan formed the final face of ‘Naija
Ninja’ with Baba Dee playing a background role. The label went
on to release their first project in October 2012, an EP aptly
titled ‘The Rebirth ’.
Months later it was a bit surprising to find out that Sean Tizzle
had signed another deal with popular beat-maker D’Tunes (who
had just parted with Iyanya and MMMG label ). Sean dropped his
first official single ‘Sho lee’ and began receiving some buzz.
‘ He just didn’t return to the studio, didn’t call us, practically just
blacked out on us’ , Baba Dee who handles the business angle of
the label says. Baba Dee told NET that they’ve met with Sean
Tizzle and his new label/management Difference Entertainment
(owned and headed D’Tunes) to discuss two things – to
acknowledge his breach of his contract and the five songs
(including ‘Sho lee’) all written by Sound Sultan in his possession.
‘We have been very civil about this, unfortunately they haven’t.
Sean has a two year-two album deal with us’ , Baba Dee says
neither D’Tunes nor his new label have agreed to their terms
which included buying out Sean’s contract and agreeing who
owns mechanical, publishing and performance rights to ‘Sho lee’.
Baba Dee says Sean Tizzle also claims there is no contract
between himself and Naija Ninja insisting he has misplaced his.
A rep for Naija Ninja tells us that Sean Tizzle was served a court
letter over the matter while he was partying at a nightclub at the
popular Elegushi beach some weeks ago. The Pop artiste however
refused to receive the letter.
A rep for Sean Tizzle and Difference Entertainment however
insiste the whole matter is baseless. They told NET ‘It’s all
propaganda, that’s all we have to say’.
D’Tunes refused to neither pick our phone calls nor respond to
text messages.
Sound Sultan has however played it pretty cool; he has been at
least at three different venues where Sean Tizzle has performed
‘Sho lee’ and has kept his calm.
We’ll see where the story goes from here…

If the news on Nationonline is anything to go by, then popular
actress, Funke Akindele, might have separated from her husband,
Kehinde Oloyede.
A statement allegedly posted by her husband on facebook reads:
“It is with heavy heart that I am announcing the separation of me
and my wife, Mrs. Olufunke Akindele. We have both agreed to go
our separate ways because of irreconcilable differences. We are
still best of friends and we would forever remain good friends.”
Best Of Nollywood also reported that the jenifa star has changed
her BlackBerry Messenger Display name from Mrs Funke Akindele
Oloyede to Everyone loves Jenifa.
It would be recalled that the couple got married May last year.
Coincidence? Was her husband’s facebook account hacked? These
are questions begging for answers.
